Love and Sex
I think we all confuse love and sex way to often. Sex... It was explained to me one time in a very wonderful way.
Sex is mechanics and love is acceptance.
Its like two slot machines from the casinos. Imagine them face to face or one on top or one behind the other.... you get the picture. Each one pulls the lever and the wheels spin around and around. Some times one gets three diamonds and goes ding, ding, ding, tons of coins come out and the lever puller is happy. The other machine gets two cherries and a bar and just a few coins.
Now what happends often, is both machines pull the levers and they both hit jack pot together and ding, ding, ding.... they both look into eachothers eyes and say.... "we must be in love!"
No... it was that they both hit jackpots. I think you get it.
Love is something way different for me. Love is acceptance, acceptance of who someone is and who someone isnt. Truly accepting them not because they deserve it or not, but because you choose to. (Choice is another topic all together)
so imagine the space you could create for someone if you truly accepted them for who they were. Hey I'm not saying that you are not standing for thier greatness, but you are free from judgement. Free from want or desire for them to be anything else besides who they are right now. Imagine how great it would be for them to be free from any constraints of the past from you or any future pressures.
Wow.
that would truly be grace.
